Aakrosh movie gets into censor trouble

Sept 25 (FLS): The already delayed by the verdict of the Ayodhya, Aakrosh movie is expected to be delayed further as the movie has entered into controversy with the Censor Board which has issued a show cause notice to the producer of the movie demanding him to cut 30 scenes or changes in the dialogue of the movie.

The film also allegedly contains lot of dialogues that has dual meaning and remarks against the women which are highly objectionable.

As per report of the industrial source, the film contains strong language as a result the examining committee has asked the producer to either delete or replace the language with milder words. However, film’s production has shown their resent to change all the mentioned scenes and have planned to move the case to the revising committee.

The production house told that if the mentioned scenes were scrapped from the movie then the whole purpose of making a film on honour killing would be defeated.

Showing displeasure towards the demands of Censor board, film producer Kumar Mangat said some cuts will be made in the scene but not all. He also said that until the issues with censor board is resolved; the movie will not be released.

Aakrosh, which is directed by Priyadarshan and stars Ajay Devgn, Akshaye Khanna, Bipasha Basu and Paresh Rawal in lead roles is based on the subject of honour killings and explores the mysterious disappearance of three boys from Delhi University, who go missing in the dusty village of Jhanjhar, Bihar.
