Achanta Sharath Kamal crashes out

New Delhi, Oct 13 (IBNS): Indian Table Tennis player and defending champion Achanta Sharath Kamal has lost his semi-final men’s single match at the ongoing Commonwealth Games (CWG) here on Wednesday.

This defeat is a huge blow to the Indian hope as Sharath was expected to reach the final match of the event.

Earlier, the Table Tennis duo of Sharath Kamal and Subhajit Saha won a thrilling semi-final match of the men’s doubles Table Tennis competition against the English pair of Liam Pitchford and Andrew Baggaley.

The Indian pair was a match point down as they fought hard to make an exciting comeback and finally register for themselves a seat at the finals of the event.
