AIEEE 2011 paper leaked, exam postponed for 3 hours

After all the sectors being hit by the devil of corruption, it was the turn of the education department wherein country’s most prestigious engineering entrance exam AIEEE has its paper leaked. The exam was postponed for three hours and in spite of commencing at the scheduled time, it was rescheduled to begin at 12 noon.

As per report of the sources, the paper was found being sold openly in the market of Lucknow. And in this case, Uttar Pradesh Special Task force has arrested one person in connection with the paper leak. Moreover, they are still busy looking for the leads in the case.

While speaking to media, Vijay Prakash of STF Lucknow said that they had the paper with them since last night and were looking for two people who leaked the paper.

Since the paper is conducted in two halves over the day, the schedule of the entire day has been disrupted resulting in the problem to the candidates who have come far places to their allotted centers. While the first paper is for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) aspirants, the second paper which was scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm has been rescheduled from 4 pm to 7 pm.

Over 12 lakh students across the country are appearing for around 26,816 engineering and architecture seats under the AIEEE.
