Dec 4 (FLS News): India’s information technology hub, Bangalore will introduce the first Nano Park in India by 2011. The primary aim behind this technically sound decision is to boost the nano science and research technology in India.
On Friday, in a press conference, Prf. CNR Rao, a well known scientist said that there had been some delays earlier, but, the Nano Park would become ready by 2011. While describing the advantages of Nano Park Mr. Rao said that the park would host several industries related to nanotechnology and also the park would provide opportunities of research work in this adventurous field of nanotechnology.
Although Mr. Rao shared lot of intriguing points about the Nano Park but he did not disclose the estimation cost of the ongoing Nano Park project.
During the press conference Mr. Rao also revealed that during the announcement of third edition of Nano-2010, a premier event in nanotechnology of India, ‘Frontier’s of nanotechnology in India’ had been decided as its focal theme and the event would be commenced from December 8 2010.
As per report of sources, the Karnataka government had allotted a 15-acre plot for the Nano Park in 2007 but the project could not come on the track because of some problems.
It has been considered that the step to set up Nano Park will allure the young talents and attract them into the intriguing field of nanotechnology. This step is also seeing as the foundation stone of boosting of nanotechnology in India.
