It is time to get formal and look like a decent ‘Shikshak’ for Bhopal government colleges lady teachers as lady teachers in Bhopal government colleges will no longer be allowed to wear casual dresses like Jeans, T-shirts and fashionable Salwar Kurta. Government colleges in Bhopal are going to issue a dress code for lady teachers in order to promote the Indian tradition.
According to the dress code- lady teachers will have to wear ‘saree’ in college hours, they are not allowed to wear western outfits not even Salwar Kurta.
Speaking to the media persons a lady teacher said that administration should have issued a dress code for students too, students like who worn extra low waist jeans with spaghetti strap tops. She further added that however, the lady teachers in Bhopal did not wear jeans or casual clothes but they mostly preferred Salwar-Kurta.
While pleading for anonymity, another lady teacher said that why the dress code was being imposed on lady teachers? She further added that it should have been equally considered for male teacher too.
It has been reported that the dress code would soon applied in the colleges.
The administration of Sarojini Naidu Government Girls College is going to issue a dress code for its students, apart from teachers.
Deepika Narolia, a panel member of the dress code committee said to media that it was really important to have a dress code as it was difficult to differentiate between teachers and students.
