11 legislators of the opposition party have made their minds to resign from the State Assembly after unseemly scenes of a slipper being flung at the speaker and furniture and microphones being broken in the House. Their agitation against the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s financial scam is getting stronger hold with each passing moment. They have alleged that Nitish kumar is involved in a Rs 11,412 crore financial scam in Bihar during his tenure from 2002 to 2008.The suspended RJD and LJP legislators have decided to submit a memorandum to the Governor Devanand Konwar and make him aware of the prejudice that they endured in the Assembly.
One of the suspended legislator alleged that “It was disgusting to see the behavior of the Speaker. Despite of unruly behavior of both the opposition and ruling Party legislators, he had been strict towards the opposition party only”
Out of 67 suspended members, 11 members submitted their resignation to LJP state President Pasupati Kumar Paras. After getting it cleared by Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan, resignations would be handed over to Assembly Speaker Udai Narayan Choudhary. Some sources also got the hint that RJD chief Lalu Prasad is also expected to reach here.

At financial irregularities pointed by the petitioner Arvind Kumar, Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi are among the 47 people named in the complaint alleging irregularities of Rs.11, 412 crore during 2002-08 in Bihar.
