Sept 26 (FLS): The Bihar Assembly poll exercise will be set in motion tomorrow in which three parties are likely to be at truce which includes Nitish Kumar-led JD (U)-BJP ruling alliance, RJD-LJP combine and the Congress.

The Election commission is all set to take care of the poll and the security arrangement during the poll has been escalated as it is aware of the fact that Bihar is affected by Naxal menace and thus no chances would be taken during the poll.

The notification of the first phase of the Assembly polls will be issued by the State Governor Devanand Konwar on Monday. Moreover, it has been estimated that nearly 5.5 crore electors in Bihar will be eligible to exercise their franchise to elect the new hose consisting of 243 members whose term will end on November 27.

Centre has planned to deploy Para- military forces to ensure free and fair polling in the election in the 33 Maoists hit districts over 47 seats.

The polls is decided to be held in six phases which will be held on October 21, 24, 28, November one, 9 and 20 for the 243 seats.

The election is expected to be a triangular affair with the ruling JD (U) and BJP continuing their poll alliance and Lalu Prasad’s RJD and Ram Vilas Paswan’s LJP joining hands to oust it from power. The Congress has announced that it will go it alone in the state, unlike in the past when it played a second fiddle to RJD.

Counting of votes will take place on November 24.
