Businessman kidnapped in Assam

Guwahati, Oct 2 (IBNS) : A businessman was kidnapped by suspected National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) miIltants in Assam’s Sonitpur district on Saturday, police sources said.

According to report, Mukesh Sen, a businessman of Hiladhari Basti under Chatia police station in the district was kidnapped by suspected NDFB militants, when he was on his way back home around 7:45 pm on Saturday evening.

Security forces launched a massive operation at that area along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border area to trace the abducted businessman.
