Congress leader covets CWG failure

Mani Shankar Aiyar, a Congress leader left everyone agape with his incredulous desire of the failure of Common Wealth Games. He remarked that except evil no one could patronize them. These remarks by a senior leader were seriously dismissed immediately both by the ruling party and BJP.

He further said that he was delighted by the continuos rainfall in Delhi, which was disturbing the work and causing difficulties for the preparation of CWG. When he was asked the reason for such a imprudent and irresponsible statement he told that with the success of this Common wealth game, other games like Asian Games and Olympic games will hit the country and thousands of crores of the country will be wasted in worthless circuses.

He further said that at one hand most of the Indian children are deprived of their basic needs and yet India is boasting of its economic boom and wasting its money in such crap games.

“Those who are patronising the Games can only be evil. They cannot be God”, Aiyar, a known critic of the Games who has vent his ire often in the past, said.

“Mr. Ignorant Minster, do you have any idea how much it does to boost country’s tourism based on these sporting event”, said a youth being muddled at the statement of the minister.

BJP, although criticized government for it’s poor preparation level but never ever uttered anything against the holding of Common Wealth Games in India. They also took the statement as ignorant and imprudent.

“I do not take him seriously”, Congress MP Sandeep Dikshit said.

“Opposition of games can be done only for Sadistic pleasure“, said Samajwadi Party.
