I had a very bad experience a few days back with one of the top telecom service providers in the country and when I thought of complaining about the same to the consumer forums in India, I had no clue where to do so. I did see one consumer forum at one of my friend’s recent tweets but I wanted to submit my complaint to many of them. When I did some search, I found a few websites where I can submit the complaint online but the problem was that most of them were filled with spam submissions.
When I did some more searches, I found another website where belong to the government of India but that website do not have a complaint submission system. I did end up submitting my complaint to many of these consumer complaints websites but I have heard nothing from about the same from the telecom service provider about whom I wrote the complaint.
I have heard some people talking about companies that reacted instantly on the consumer complaints posted online. One of my friend, who was being troubled by an Infosys HR on her PF fund withdrawal, posted a complaint explaining everything about her issue on some of these websites and to her shock, she got a call the next morning from the same HR and told her that he will release her fund ASAP! And now, she talks about it all the time.
It does help posting the consumer complaints online on consumer forums but in my case, I am still waiting for a surprise call. When would it come?

posting on forums and online complaint boards do work and I have personally had experience. It was about Tata Photon and when I posted a complaint online, I got a call the next day. Although I don’t use it now, the problem did get resolved.
