Dabangg collection hits 48.5 crore in the weekend alone

Jumping up with some great reviews, the entire box-office has been set on fire by Salman Khan’s starrer movie Dabangg which is all set to break all records which was set by the earlier successful movies like three idiots. Dabangg grossed nearly 48.5 crore in the opening weekend beating the earnings of Hindi cinema’s highest grosser 3 Idiots.

Salman khan playing the role of Chulbul Pandey aka ‘Robinhood’ has drawn droves of people to the theater with the mind boggling action and dialogue with masala. Many of the fans took the advantage of the long weekend to catch the entertaining potboiler which resulted in record breaking collections. As per report of the trade analyst the movie is on its way to become the biggest hit of the season.

The film made under the production of Arbaaz khan has been praised not only by fans but also by the critics who called the movie as the entertainer pack. He was unable to resist himself to share few words to the fans on the nationwide success of his movie and told that the audience response towards the movie has humbled him and that he was proud of his Salman Khan and entire production team.

Shatrughan’s daughter turned out to be lucky as her first movie turned out to be record breaking and thus provided her the best launch pad for any actress’s career.

One of the Delhi based distributor reported that the movie had broken all records and it was running 30 percent ahead of 3 idiots and has been appreciated both by masses and classes. The movie has definitely put Bollywood on fire. However, the only thing that keeps haunting is this that will the movie continue with the same pace in coming weekends?
