EC notification for Bihar's last phase poll

Patna, Oct 27 (IBNS) The Election Commission of India on Wednesday issued notification for sixth and the final phase of polls for Bihar’s 26 assembly constituencies on November 20.

While November 3 is the last date for filing nominations, the scrutiny of the candidates’ applications will be held on the following day and the last date for withdrawal of nomination is November 6.

Of the 26 constituencies, polling in Maoist-hit constituencies of Bhabua, Chainpur, Chenari(SC), Sasaram, Dinara, Dehri, Karakat, Goh, Nabinagar, Kutumba(SC), Rafiganj, Gurua, Sherghati, Imamgang(SC), Barachatti(SC) and Tikari will be conducted between 7 AM and 3 PM, while for the rest it will be held from 7 AM to 5 PM.

Bihar ‘s first two phase polls were already held.
