It seems that the England team is in no mood of offering sympathy for Pakistan’s plight as the tourists were again made to suffer humiliating defeat in second match against England in T20 series by six wickets and six overs intact.
England claim the T20 series in convincing style as there bowling did work once again against the Pakistan team who collapsed on 89 which is their lowest total of T20.The English batsmen managed to get to the victory target with six wicket and six overs in their hand.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first .Its opener Kamran Akmal was the first to go when Pakistan was on 11 runs. Opener Shahzaib Hassan could not show much resistance to the bowlers and he became the prey of Broad after Mohammed Yousuf who was caught by Bopara on the ball of Bresnan.
Boom Boom Shahid Afridi went in cheap and the Tail Enders help Pakistan reach the score of 89 at which Shoaib Akhtar was bowled out by Bresnan in 18.4 overs only. England bowling was once again at its best and the bowlers did not give a single chance to batsmen to free their hands. Bresnan took 3 wickets while Sidebottom, Broad and Swann took 2 wickets apiece.
Chasing the target of 90 runs was simple for the England team and the openers Kieswetter and Davies played some dancing shots bringing England on 26 in 2.3 overs only until Kieswetter was run out by Umar Akmal. Bopara and Collingwood played sensibly and Eoin Morgan along with Yardy brought the winning run for the team in just 14 overs.
After being defeated in the T20 series Pakistan now head to Durham for the start of a one-day, 50-over series against England which has further humiliation stamped all over it.
