The former business partners of Pop star Britney Spears have slapped her with a $10 million lawsuit. She is being sued by them on the ground of breach of contract, fraud and deceit.

As per report of the sources, the lawsuit, which has been filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, on Wednesday is related to her Radiance fragrance and multi-million dollar branding deal with beauty giant Elizabeth Arden which is worth 15 million USD every year.

Radaronline.com quoted the suit stating that Britney had secretly made a separate deal with Elizabeth Arden in a sneaky underhanded effort to circumvent and evade the obligation related to it to Brand sense.

The suit further added that Britney had illegally and improperly cut the Brand sense out of the Elizabeth Arden deal. The pop star has also been accused of concealment and evasive actions.

The suit also claimed that Brand Sense had a contractual right to a 35 percent commission on any Britney Spears-branded fragrance sold by Elizabeth Arden. However, Britney Spears complained that the commission was too high and she did not want to pay it.

However, the alleged scheme did not come to light until Arden sent a letter to Spears and Brand Sense, dated February 16, 2011, enclosing a revised royalty report, which excluded the Radiance scent.

Last year, in September, Spears released Radiance, which is the ninth scent in her collection. A declaratory relief in excess of 10 million is being seeked by the Brand sense along with both the compensatory and punitive damages.
