Google may launch e-news distribution application for Android

Google, the web giant, which is not only the biggest search engine but also has created an impeccable image in the world of operating system developing giants with the launch of mobile based operating system- Android, has recently given a sign of launching an eccentric application of distributing newspapers and magazines on mobiles and tablets for Android users.

It has been reported that Google was working to bring an application for Android users that would distribute magazines and newspapers on the phones and tablets according to Wall Street Journal report.

The report further informed that the Google had already been discussing to the major publishers, Time Warner, Hearst Corp. and Condé Nast pertaining to the plan. While informing the problems faced by Google the report said that because of Apple (which is already running such an application) there were some disagreement between Google and publishers.

While substantiating the problems the report added that the subscription model disagreement between Apple and publishers boiled down to two issues.

Reportedly, in a statement Google said that they had been consistently saying that they were talking with publishers so they could find out a way to work together. While describing the also matter discussed with publishers Google said that they also discussed whether they could provide technical help for subscribing the service. Google further added that they could not say anything specific regarding the plan until they got positive response from publishers.
