Google to debut the instant language translator application on mobiles

Invention of Internet has converted the world into a ‘Global Village’, however, still language barrier exists but the new revolutionary step taken by Google, the web giant and leading mobile operating system producer promises to eliminate the existing language barrier; as Google launched a new mobile based application (prototype) that allows users to translate chat instantly.

As per report of sources, the application ‘Google Translate’ can be used on the devices running Android operating system, which translates English to Spanish and vice versa. The report further added that users had to activate the application for translation to be performed.

While describing about the technology used the report said that the application used the similar technology used to update Google application. The report further substantiated that the application Google Translator done the translation by recording the user’s speech and the recorded speech was sent to company’s vast server from where the translated speech was sent back.

The application launched by Google is the ‘Alpha’ trial version which only translates English to Spanish and vice versa but Google expects to add new languages soon. Google has informed that Google expected the service to operate in real-time within 18 months.

Google already has an online text translator service which covers more than 52 of the world’s estimated 6,000 languages but new astonishing step by Google is being considered as revolutionary can eliminate the language barrier up to a significant label.
