Google TV to hit the market by next season

Search Engine Google is teaming up with Intel, Sony and Logitech to bring the Google’s TV. The operating system of the Google’s TV will have a custom Android operating system called Dragonpoint.

Home entertainment device from Google will be featured easy web browsing applications on TV screen. The TV was made focusing mainly in advertising. Google TV will have some limited applications like Program guide, DVR menu, customer-service messaging, etc.

Google had announced their collaboration with Sony, Intel and Logitech last month. Each company will be producing their own stuffs like Sony will be producing Set-top boxes with chips from Intel. Logitech will build the remote control of the TV, much like a keyboard.

The Android based Dragonpoint will be making debut as operating system with Google TV powered by Sony, Intel and Logitech. Sony’s home entertainment device with custom Android based operating system is likely to arrive by next month.
