In the face of allegations the government has come firm against the organizing committee as it has overtaken the work from the committee today on Thursday making a team of 10 bureaucrats who are going to supervise all the work and ensure the completion of the project on deadlines.

Government has finally taken the control clipping kalmadi’s army from the entire preparation load. The growing fear of the failure of the completion of the CWG project made the government to bring such committee into action.

The 10 appointed bureaucrats are of the rank of joint and additional secretaries who have been selected for this crucial task by the office of the Prime Minister. The bureaucrats are given upper hands against the organizing committee and the organizing committee officers are supposed to report every progress of the project to them.

Each bureaucrat has been assigned a stadium apiece and they have to duly perform their duty by checking it at regular interval and ensure their completion by the assigned deadline. With this step of the government it can be felt that government is worried about the completion of the projects by the 3rd of October which is the scheduled date for the mega event. It seems that the government wants to ensure that all the pending projects are completed without any further hiccups.

Earlier, the government had also formed a group of ministers to supervise the work of OC but that did not bring pace to the work and hence it came with this startling strategy as there is only 45 days left for the commencement of the event.
