This is the second back to back celebration in the country as after the India clinching world cup, it is Anna Hazare’s win who finally broke the 97 hours long fast. People in Mumbai have come forward with celebration on veteran Gandhian victory against corruption by taking out car and bikes rally in the city today on April 10th.
As per report of the sources, people of all walks of life have participated in the rally thus making the count rise to 1500 with more than 200 cars and 60n bikes on the road.
The rally kick started from Shivaji Park and moved towards north Mumbai via L.J. Road, Mahim, S.V. Road, Santacruz, Juhu Tara Road and V.M. Marg until they reached Kaifi Azmi marg in Juhu.
It was also reported that the mass halted at different places and raised victory slogans. They were welcomed by the local people of the area and they also contributed to this social cause in their own way.
Similarly, in Delhi, the people welcomed the decision of Prime Minister on accepting the demands of Lokpal Bill. The founder of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravi Shankar welcomed the decision of Prime Minister and told that this step will help government to get rid of corrupt elements at high places who are rotting the environment.
The 72 year old Gandhian went on Fast unto death on April 5 to fight against corruption.
