Hiss Review, Rating: Hot, Sexy Mallika couldn't save the movie

Jennifer Lynch produced movie Hisss brought disappointment to the viewers as the movie with the theme about a wishful serpent played by bombshell Mallika Sherawat, who has the capability of changing her appearance to a lady or serpent depending on her wish, could not mesmerize her fans.
The theme of the movie has been adopted from two bollywood films which hit the screens in the year 1976 in which Veena Roy played the lead role. And later it was Harmesh Malhotra in 1986 in the movie Nagina casting Sridevi as the theme role.

However, the previous version of the movie proved much better than the newly released Hisss. If we speak frankly then, ‘Hisss’ is a pathetic movie and a caricature of sorts the way it exaggerates the nagin folklore. ‘Hisss’ terribly lacks script and performances – to say it all, it lacks bite.
There is a callous character George played by George Doucette who comes from America to travel to Indian Forests to have some adventure. He captures the serpent’s mate for which she converts herself to a beautiful lady to search for her mate in the city. The revengeful serpent turned lady has no idea about where her mate has been taken to. There is an investigator Vikram played by Irrfan Khan quite skilful in solving complicated cases. Mallika Sherawat has given quite a number of nude scenes to allure fans.

After watching the movie, one will fall in dilemma why Irfan Khan made himself part of this dud project. Mallika was a dumb show with her acting parts. Divya Dutta has got nothing in this film.
As a whole, it is best to avoid this movie.

    Sridevi’s Nagina remains the best snake movie ever made in India. Sridevi ROCKED! I still remember the day in 1986 we watched Nagina and how public was whistling and clapping everytime Sridevi would turn to snake. A soft yet thrilling storyline, soulful music, a strong supporting cast and powerful performances by Sridevi, Rishi Kapoor and Amreesh Puri and to top it all the climax-Main Teri Dushman!

    It is a head ache .Plz don’t watch this movie. It’s better to take rest or sleep rather than watching this stupid, meaningless movie. The script itself is nonsense.There is not much acting or direction which is visible in the movie.Over all its pathetic .No use writing long essay or reviews regarding the movie. Better avoid!!

    Did not understand what director wanted to convey the audience… very poor script, unwanted scenes… its very hard to believe that this is prodcued by Jennifer Lynch
