Prevent Wordpress Blog Server Overload: Today we saw sudden increase in the traffic of this blog and our shared server got overloaded. The site was talking too long to respond. On investigaiton with the server admin team (thanks to them for the fast response and support), they suggested us that we should install WP Super Cache wordpress plugin.
In the next few minutes we installed and activated the WP Super Cache Wordpress Plugin and then everything started working fine thereafter. WP Super Cache Wordpress Plugin is indeed a life saver and that’s why I am writing this post now on this blog.
So what does a WP Super Cache Wordpress Plugin do?
Well, this question is answered very well in the plugin home page. It “generates static html files from your dynamic WordPress blog. After a html file is generated your webserver will serve that file instead of processing the comparatively heavier and more expensive WordPress PHP scripts“.
It is indeed very effective in reducing the wordpress blog server overload and I would recommend wordpress bloggers to use it. You can find complete details on the plugin and how it function the plugin home page here. I am sure you will love it.
