IIT JEE 2011 Cutoff, Ranks Discussion

The IIT JEE 2011 was conducted yesterday and now, many of the students are worried how the results and the cutoff-ranks will come up this year. Some of the analysts seem to believe that the cutoff this time will be slightly higher than that of the previous year, 2010.

As per the different predictions that we could collect from different IIT coaching institutes and teachers, the expected IIT JEE 2011 Cutoff may be around 190 to 200.

However, the actual cutoff will only be revealed when the IIT JEE 2011 results are declared on May 25, 2011.

We will try to bring a complete analysis of the cutoff-ranks prediction as soon as possible and post the same on this blog.

    this year the iit jee cut off may be little higher than last time which was 175. this time it will be around 190.

    according to ankur mittal, the cut off rank will be the following

    1-500 More than 315
    501-1000 290-315
    1001-2000 268-290
    2001-3000 251-268
    3001-4000 240-251
    4001-5000 231-240
    5001-6000 222-231
    6001-7000 215-222
    7001-8000 209-215
    8001-9000 203-209

    but as per my prediction, the cut off will be little less than 200. it may come around 190 or something

    @tomashu: i agree with u, the cut off marks for 2011 may be something like 190-192 i think. I may get around 230 i think

    m getting nearly 225 marks….i can get qualified but wats the procedure of seat allotment coz m of O/C ……so can i expect a seat???

    unlucky me! Got nervous in 1st paper. Getting 64 in it and around 150 in 2nd paper. Total of around 210. Can i get a rank under 6000? Its my 1st attempt, that too without any tution or coaching.
