Imran Khan's reception in Mumbai attended by big personalities

Imran Khan and Avantika’s reception in Mumbai today was on high as the party was flooded with popular politicos, bureaucrats, business tycoons, sportsperson and last but not the least bollywood stars right from the older ones to the newer ones.

As per report of the sources, the party was celebrated at the Taj Lands End hotel which started late night on Saturday and continued till Sunday morning. Shah Rukh Khan was the last one to arrive though he compensated it in his signature style by joking about it.

Shah Rukh Khan who was hugged at the gate with warm hug by Aamir Khan told that he was late as he was busy at work and added that they were so sweet that they waited for him and so he wanted to come and wish them.

Imran and Avantika tied the knot by the beach in Phuket, Thailand, on January 10. Aamir had then announced that he would through a big party for the newlyweds by the end of the month.

Other big names in the party include Akshay Kumar came with wife Twinkle Khanna, R Madhavan with wife Sarika and also Hrithik Roshan had his wife Suzzane Khan in tow. Bobby Deol, Anupam Kher, Salmaan Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Katrina Kaif, Vidya Balan, Suniel Shettty, Govinda, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Priyanka Chopra, Juhi Chawla, Irrfan Khan, Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Tusshar Kapoor and his father Jitendra, Zayed Khan and Sanjay Khan, Deepika Padukone with her friend Siddhartha Malya were the other faces seen at the party.

Lyricists Prasoon Joshi and Javed Akhtar along with singers like Alka Yagnik, Roop Kumar Rathod but superstar Amitabh Bacchan could not attend. All of them were praises for the couple and wished them a lifetime of togetherness.
