Indian Idol audition Stampede News: 12 persons injured in the Noida stampede

12 people has been injured in a stampede at Indian Idol auditions in Noida Today. This event occured in just 5 days after the Pratapgarh Stampede incident.

The injured people were rushed to the nearby hospital (Fortis Hospital) and given first aid, after which they were discharged.

As per reports, the stampede happened because 5000 turned up for the Indian Idol audition against the 1000 expected by the organisers. Police had to resort to lathicharge to maintain order.
