New Delhi, Oct 15 (IBNS) Customs, Central Excise and Service Tax revenue collections rose to Rs. 150686/- Crore during April-September 2010. Thus there is an increase of 44.4 percent in revenue collections at all India level during April-September 2010 as compared to corresponding period in previous year i.e. April-September 2009.
Revenue collections from Customs increased to Rs.63229 Crore during the period i.e. an increase of 66.8 percent as compared to corresponding period in previous year.
Similarly, collections from Central Excise rose to Rs. 60834 Crore in April-September,2010 i.e. an increase of 40.7 percent as compared to corresponding period in previous year.
Revenue collections from Service Tax rose to Rs.26623 Crore in April-September,2010 i.e. an increase of 14.8 percent as compared to corresponding period in previous year.
Total revenue collections of Rs.150686 Crore from Indirect Taxes during April-September, 2010 is 48.1 percent of the Budget Estimates of 2010-11.
