iPhone 4 in India probably by October 2010

Bharti Airtel, India’s largest telecom service provider has come out with its recent decision to launch iPhone 4 which is the latest sleek mobile from US based Apple Inc., by October, 2010.

Sanjay Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer of Bharti Airtel said in a media statement while in between the conference with a CII industry “We are working with Apple. Hopefully, we will launch it in the September-October timeframe”.

Vodafone Essar had spoken out in June its plan to launch the latest IPhone4 without giving a confirmed date regarding its launching period. Anyhow, the sources said that the company will be launching the iPhone 4 handsets in September.

The model IPhone3GS is already being sold in market by Bharti Airtel tagged at a cost of Rs 35500 for 16GB set and Rs 41500 for 32GB set. The sales of such higher end brand models is expected to boom up in the country in coming up years to the maximum after the launch of the new model by end of this year.

Last month, the Apple Company had confirmed saying that the IPhone4 which will be launched soon will be embedded with sharper touch screen and also video chatting facilities included. The iPhone model from Apple Computers’ stable has been its top product by overtaking Macintosh computer and iPod.
