KBC 4 kicks off with record TRP

Oct 12 (FLS): The fourth season of the ‘Kaun Banega CrorePati’ which kicked off on the auspicious day of the host Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday seems to have returned very strongly after the original host of the show mesmerized the viewers on the very debut day with his baritone speech and outstanding style.

Though the show is in its 4th season but with the charisma and style of bollywood mega star it seems that the viewers have returned back to the first season of the show as the megastar looks smashingly same-with same impressive baritone and charisma as he was 10 years ago.

The first episode of the show continued for one and half hour after it kick-start on Sony Television Entertainment with an average TRP of five percent as per data provided by data overnight television viewership tracker Audience Measurement and Analytics (aMap).

The show has grossed highest average rating in the time band of 9pm-10:30 pm Monday and pipped the Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss average rating of 3.4 on colors.

The first episode introduced some format change in the show and also shown the quizzing of one of the contestant who bagged 3, 20,000 cash prize.

This time, the quiz show based on popular Britain-based reality game show ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ will run for only nine weeks.

The prize money has shot up to Rs.5 crore and number of questions have been reduced from 15 to 12. Time limit for every question has been fixed this time. For the first two questions, the time limit is 30 seconds. From third to seventh question, one will have 45 seconds and after seventh question, there is no time limit.

Well, the show has come once gain up to expectation of the people and gone in accordance to the created hype.
