Kingfisher Calendar 2011 unveiled by Salman Khan in Mumbai

Mumbai, Dec 20 (IBNS) Bollywood superstar Salman Khan unveiled The Kingfisher Calendar 2011 recently in Mumbai.In its 9th Edition, The Kingfisher Calendar 2011 was unveiled amidst much fanfare on Dec 18 over a plush brunch hosted by Vijay Mallya, Chairman, UB Group at his Mumbai residence, ‘Niladri’.

The guest of honour at this year’s ‘The Kingfisher Calendar 2011’ launch party was none other than Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, Mallya said: “Over the years, the Kingfisher swimsuit calendar has come to be regarded as the epitome of style and a launch pad for India’s supermodels. I am sure this year too the calendar will be a much coveted possession.”

The afternoon saw some of the most stylish and gorgeous people of Mumbai revelling in the winter sun, sipping on wine and mouth watering cocktails raising a toast to the year-on-year success of the iconic Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar.

Seen enjoying Anoushka Manchanda’s Live act were Siddhartha Mallya, Deepika Padukone, Rahul Khanna, Zayed Khan, Raveena Tandon, Anil Thandani, Gautaum Singhania, Sharmilla Khanna and Sameera Reddy.

Featuring six models-Lisa Haydon, Fiona Thomas, Charlotte Lohmann, Liza Golden and Anjali Lavania with winner of ‘The Hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2011- Angela Johnson, the calendar was shot in Le-Touessork in Mauritius.

Styled by Nupur Mehta Puri with make up by Kapil Bhalla and hair styling by Daniel Bauer, the 9th edition of the Kingfisher Calendar has been visualised and shot by none other than ace photographer Atul Kasbekar.
