LG to launch LG Ally Iron Man 2 Themed Smart phones

LG electronics announces the official launch of LG Ally, an Android based handset, with Iron Man 2 theme. The phone will probably be available through Verizon in US by March 20.

Not much detail of the phone is released as yet but it will be slide form factor phone with 3.2 inch touch screen display. The input type will be both touch and full QWERTY keypad. It will also include 3.2 mega pixel camera. There will be Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, video recording and music player. LG ally also come equipped with social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter etc. It will also have Google maps and G-talk. The phone runs on operating system of Google Android 2.1.

LG electronics and Marvel Comics’ collaborated phone LG Ally will come in limited edition. The official pictures and specification of phone is not released but last week, Iron Man 2 theme trailer featuring the phone was leaked. LG is planning to reveal the phone in an event on 11 May in New York.

The much anticipated movie, Iron Man 2, was released last week in Europe, Australia, Latin America and Asia and it made $ 100.2 million. Next week the movie will open in North America, India, Germany, China and Turkey.
