Mantri Square Mall Bangalore: too big, too crowded

Advertisement:

The larget Mall in India opened up in the Venkata Ranga Iyengar Road, Malleshwaram, Bangalore very recently and it is called the Mantri Square or the Mantri Mall. The Mall is gigantic and you can expect to find everything inside it, including smaller malls like SPAR Hypermaket, ShoppersStop, etc. Roaming around the Mall and window shopping alone may eat up your entire day.

Many big brands as well as small brands have opened up their outlets and shopping with so many options around may fill your heart with excitement. But there is one problem, the mall is already too crowded.

Forget weekends, even on week days the mall’s central hangout space remains full, specially in the evening hours. Seems like Bengaluru loves shopping and specially, shopping in the India’s biggest mall.

The Mantri Square is fast becoming one of the biggest attractions in Bangalore with so many smaller attractions inside. Amongst these, if we are asked to mention one, there we have Taco Bell on the right hand side, as soon as we enter the mall. Taco Bell is a popular Mexican restaurant chain and Mantri Mall Bangalore is the first one to have it in the entire Karnataka. The food is awesome for a change but you will have to compromise a little on the quantity. But here also you will see the same thing, too many people waiting for a quick bite.

So, if you are a “crowd watcher”, go to the Mantri Square in the evening any day of a week. But if you just the opposite, you might like to avoid going there in the weekends. But yes, it is a must-visit place in Bangalore.

Mantri Mall is CLAUSTROPHOBIC. It has walls on all 4 sides, without an inch gap. There are no windows or breathing vents. Beware.

I suggets all you people to stay away from this stupid mall… coz if fire breaks in there is no water to put it off.. coz one weekend i went there with a friend of mine.. he had to go to the toilet, i accompenied him to the wash room at the second floor and comes back saying all the latrine doors in there are locked.. then at the same time another man came out yelling saying he had also went to the 3rd floor WTC and there was no water, then somebody suggested us to go to the 1st floor wash room we went there and the same case… we almost went to all the floors to find if he could use a toilet. finally all the latrine were locked…? can u believe the latrines gettin locked in a mall…? and the reason was no water supply.. then we cought hold of the manager and other people they all did a big drama saying that there was a water shortage as it was a weekend and they didt expect such a big crowd…???
it so stupid of them.. for not having water supply… and i asked if there is a out burst of fire…? what they are going to do…? they didt have any answere.. and its in malleshwaram… and the fire fighters can never reach there until the whole bulding is burnt down…?
I have no clue which authority gave them permission to open such a stupid mall without any water supply…
and one more thing there was not even one water dispencer filled with water… all the dispensers the floors were empty and dry… so if somebody is thursty they need to go to the food court and get mineral water which cost Rs 50 per liter, where as the same thing outside is less than Rs 15.. when asked they go its the mall price.. and its printed there cant you see…? are you blind..?
so here there is no respect for the visitors…?
Do you guys really want to go to such a place with your life at risk..? and when you know that you dont get any respect…?

I ever seen such a worst mall, just cheating customers in high billing when you buy the bulk items.

Recently on last 3rd Aug’10, when i bought the many items, while billing instead of actual bill amount of Rs. 913, billing person had billed to Rs. 1662 and he had argued that the calculation is correct and forcing to pay the amount billed.

When i cross checked and asked to re bill the items which was bought, it had counted as Rs. 913 to be paid, and he apologized and said due to some technical issue the system had made this mistake.

How many of such customers will check the actual amount of items they have bought.

Dear customers, kindly be aware and cross before you pay/settle your bills especially at Mantri mall-SPAR.
