Mother sets fire on herself and her 2 children after argument with her husband

A heated argument, anger or depression can mark the end of a person’s life. And the same happened in Allahabad on Friday. A 35 years old lady killed herself and her 2 children after a heated argument with her husband.

This 35 years old lady named Kranti used to live in Isrikipura village in Allahabad. She was married to Shambhunath and had two children, 8 years old daughter Urmila and 3 years old son Sagar. Shambhunath was a fruit vendor.

However they did not have a normal marital life. Shambhunath often used to beat his wife and children after returning from his work. Quite often they would quarrel and fight with each other. The same happened on Thursday evening also and soon the arguments got very much intensified. The local residents of the village even heard Shambhunath to ask her to leave his house and go away.

Soon after the incident, Kranti put fire on herself and also on her two small children, Urmila and Sagar. All the three were burnt alive on the spot itself.

Shambhunath is absconding. Police is searching for him. Meanwhile the Police have already taken some of his family members in custody for questioning. Police inspector Shashikant Singh had said that as per the reports from the local people of the village and the preliminary investigation, it is suggested that marital disharmony was the probable reason behind the suicide.
