Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra rubbished the claims of the Interpol and other agency, which are looking into the spot fixing case of the tainted Pakistan players, of having any link with Mohammed Asif, who is one of the three Pakistan alleged players.
In the wake of the recent claims which is dragging the actress name in the spot-fixing scandal on Wednesday made a statement, which was read out by her publicist Dale Bhagwagar, denying any connection with the ongoing controversy related to Asif.
Bhagwar said that Neetu never knew Mohammed Asif or any Pakistan player and her name was unnecessarily being dragged in this match fixing episode. He also said that without any concrete evidence, Ms. Malik is talking about irrelevant things and she was probably doing this for publicity as to work in Bollywood is the thing that she has always coveted.
Earlier Veena Malik, Mohammed Asif’s ex-girlfriend, had made a claim that the Indian actress Neetu had links with the cricketer Asif and also told that Neetu was lying and also assured that the telephonic details provided by her were authentic.
On Sunday evening , it was the buzz of the hour that a leaked document prepared by Interpol and Scotland Yard consisted of the actress number which was only from Mumbai. The Interpol also reported that ort calls were exchanged between Chandra and Asif on the night of November 7 last year.
As per reports, Neetu has undergone interrogation by the ICC officials but this news has been refuted by Bhagwar who told the media that she was never interrogated.
