New Tata Indigo e-CS priced Rs 4.07 lakh in India

Tata Motors launched the Tata Indigo e-CS which is the latest version of the earlier Indigo. The Tata Indigo e-CS is believed to be the most fuel efficient sedan with a guaranteed mileage of 23kmpl out of 1.4 litre common rail diesel engine. The car also have the 1.2 liter version but both the engine are BSIV ( Bharat Stage 4) and hence can be used all around the country as it meets all the emission standards.

The new Indio e-CS boast of a stylish new grill, body colored bumpers, headlamps, chrome inserts on rub rails and indicators on the rear view mirrors. Besides these, it has a centre console and the steering wheel which s almost the same as that in the Indigo XL. It also has Bluetooth enabled music systems and electric controls for the rear view mirrors.

Tata Indigo e- CS comes with a rack and pinion type with collapsible steering column with a kerb weight of 1,065 kg. The 1.4L (1396 cc) diesel engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 70 PS @ 4,000 rpm delivering.

The 1.2 liter variant of the car starts at a price of 4.07 (ex-showroom price in Delhi). And the frugal diesel version starts at the price of 5.13 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The car will be sold through 230 dealerships across India and will be available with an unlimited warrant of 18 months.
