Nishant Patel, Rahul Gandhi's aide reported missing from UP hotel

The right hand of Rahul Gandhi, Nishant Patel went missing on Monday morning and left the police in great fuss by his mysterious disappearance.

Nishant Patel is the son of former Gujarat leader Mr. Hasmukh Patel. His potent adeptness to influence youth gave him important task of overseeing the elections of Youth congress committee in Hardoi, UP.

According to sources Nishant was in Hardoi hotel with senior congress leaders and was in charge of Rahul Gandhi’s UP Mission. Nishant along with other congress leader had checked in Utsav hotel in Kotwali area on Saturday that is in the heart of Hardoi. The room allotted to him was 101.When the party meeting was over the ministers went to their respective rooms late in the evening on Sunday. According to sources, Nishant was last seen strolling in his lobby at 5:00 am on 19th July.

When he did not respond to several phone calls made to him by party workers on Monday morning, they felt dubious and checked his room. They found his belongings scattered and mobiles left in the room. Immediately, the party workers brought the police into action. Preliminary probe suggests that either he has left his cell willingly to attend some of his personal accord or he might have left for a stroll but could not make his way back to the hotel.

Some sources say that the guard had seen him in the morning talking to the rickshawwala but he did not see him riding on that rickshaw, so its not clear whether he rode and went somewhere on that rickshaw.

Congressmen hinted that he had a problem of hypertension and was a bit tensed on Sunday night.’ we are worried about the security of  our leader and our party workers are also searching him along with the police ‘said a close associate of the party.
