Nissan to launch Nissan Micra in India, booking begins from May 25

Nissan India is all set to launch their new premium mini car, the beautiful Nissan Micra in india very soon. Nissan India has announced today on May 24 that the commercial production for this new mini car has started at the Oragadam Plant, near Chennai.

Making this big announcement, Toshiyuki Shiga, Chief Operating Officer, Nissan Motor Company said that this new mini hatchback has been specially designed keeping in mind the Indian customers. He also added that the car will be marketed in Europe, Middle East and also in Africa.

As a part of the pre-sales promotion, the all new Nissan Micra will be displayed in select showrooms from May 25th. The pre-order booking for the car is also going to be started from May 25, in all the showrooms across the country against an advance payment of Rs.50,000. The actual sales will, however begin from July this year.

The current plant has an initial capacity to produce 2,00,000 units of Nissan Micra per year. The plant was constructed with an investment of over $990 million.

    well loooking forward for this coool looking car!!!!!!!!

    i wish they had some details on teh co. website. and also the price range as i post this on teh 31st ,…but cant see signs of the manufacturer anywhere and also that where can we go and see
