Nokia N900 launched, Price in India Rs.30K (Picture)

Nokia has finally launched N900 in India. The phone is powered by a Linux based operating system called Maemo.  Nokia N900 costs Rs.30,369. The phone is packed with processor ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz that provides 1GB of application memory and Open ES 2.0 Graphics acceleration support. N900 runs on Mameo 5, a linux based operating system.

Nokia N900 is a touch screen phone with 3.5 inch TFT screen of 800 X 480 pixels. The phone is also build with slide-out full QWERTY keypad; it also features a camera of 5 MP with 2576 x 1936 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash, video light and auto focus.

N900 runs on Standard Li-Ion 1320 mAh (BL-5J) battery, the battery gives up to 279 hours of talk time on 2G network and 250 hours on 3G network, stand by time up to 6 hours 30 minutes on 2G and 4 hours 30 minutes on 3G and up to 24 hours 30 minutes of music playing battery life. The connectivity of the phone are Class 32 GPRS, Class 32 EDGE, 3G, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, v2.1 Bluetooth with A2DP, v2.0 micro USB port and Infrared port. N900 has an internal memory of 32GB storage and 256MB RAM and an external memory slot which is expandable up to 48GB.

Nokia N900 has A-GPS support with Ovi Maps. It has FM transmitter too. It can play MP3, WMA, WAV and eAAC+ files. It also has TV-out, photo editor, Adobe Flash Player 9.4, PDF document viewer and WMV, Real Video, MP4, AVI, XviD, DivX video player. It also has stereo speakers with a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The price of the phone is Rs.30,639 which is pretty expensive but looking at the features, it can be considered reasonable.

  Nokia N900 has two modes of calculator one is Basic and the other one is Scientific which provides the choice to the users between simpler operation and better functionality. The Nokia N900 is cool and stylish I phone and overall its performance is up to the mark. The price of the handset matches with the specifications and I would prefer to go for this I phone!!!!!!
