With the expulsion of the trio-Salman Butt, Mohammed Aamer and Mohammed Asif, from the Pakistan team and being marred by the allegation of corruption in the Pakistan team, the performance of the team in the first match of the T20 series was again heart breaking as England continued to carry its good form by defeating Pakistan team by 5 wickets.
England after winning the World title in May 2010 was back in the T20 format in impressive way with the ball. Immediately after winning the toss, Pakistan was asked to bat first. It was Kamran Akmal and Shahzaib Hassan who took the lead for the Pakistan team and tried to give a blasting start. However, Kamran soon became the prey of Tim Bresnan at the score of 6.
Mohammed Yousuf and Shahzaib tried to continue with the built momentum but both of them became the pray of Michael Swann who took their wicket in quick session and Pakistan began to struggle at the score of 56-3. Later Fawad Alam (20), Umar Akmal (35) and Shahid Afridi played sensibly and helped Pakistan reach a respectable score of 124-4.
In reply to the total set by Pakistan team, England opener succumbed to the bowling of Shoaib Akhtar and Shahid Afridi, each took two wickets apiece. England was toiling at the score of 62 for the loss of five wickets. However, extraordinary batting performances shown by Eoin Morgan and Yardy helped England reach the victory total in 17.1 overs only.
Yardy was awarded with Man of the Match award.

I cant understand how pakistan dare to play without Imran Nazir in t20.he is one of greatest t20 asset. Most ridiculous is that for what they allow stupid Fawad alam to play t20.Is he a great hard hitter?
Playing ele ven for me in pakistan t20 should be Afidi Imran nazir malik umar and karman akmal razzak hafiz rana naved gul akhtar mizbah
