Pandyan State 1st in 12th Exam, girls better than boys overall

The result for the Tamilnadu Board class 12 examination has been out and there are happy faces all around. The rumor that said that about 50% of the students failed in Mathematics has been proved wrong. In fact, a whopping 85.2 percent lf the students have passed the 12th Board examination this year, which is about 3% higher than that of last year’s.

Happier than anyone else is Pandyan, who topped the board in class 12 results with 1187 marks. He score 200 marks each in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science with 194 in Tamil and 193 in English language.

According to the press release which states the overall pass percentage of this year is 3 percent higher than the of the last year’s, the pass percentage of girls are about 6 percent higher than that of the boys. Although the State first is a boy, the overall statistics has once again proved that girls are better than boys in the board examinations.
