Vinod’s total now stands at 15 under 115. Kolkata’s Shankar Das produced a 59 to be placed second at 11 under 119.

He also made a couple of 15 footers for birdies on the 14th and sixth. The overnight leader emerged as the top title contender on day two despite dropping three bogeys and missing a few short putts for birdie.
Vinod said, “I played some great chip shots today and also converted some long putts. I was hitting it really close during the second half of the round. It’s great to be four ahead at this stage despite missing a few short putts today. I just want to keep this form going till the end of the tournament. A steady third round would put me in a very good position.”
