Playboy magazine on iPad by March

It is really shocking news that the uncensored Playboy magazine will be available soon on iPad. It has been reported that Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy magazine, tweeted the news and added that the entire back catalogue would also be available uncensored. Mr Hefner added that the iPad version of Playboy would include the whole magazine from the first issue to the latest.

As per report of sources, the Playboy magazine will be displayed on the iPads via web page. The source further informed that the contents of archive would be formatted by Bondi Digital.

Although the Apple Store guidelines restrict the pornographic content but Playboy has maintained an official application in the Apple Store with censored content. However, it has been expected that the restriction of Apple Store on pornographic content will no longer be followed.

Speaking to the media persons, Mr David Anthony, the co-founder of Bondi Digital, said that there were different ways to manipulate the contents, including a straight implementation, while dealing with tablets. He further added that while they were doing many characterization of iPad app, those were inside the web app.

A Playboy spokesperson said to the media persons that the iPad version magazine would be launched soon. However, the price of the iPad version Playboy magazine has not been disclosed yet but it has been expected that the price would likely be similar to online edition.
