Quick Heal launches laptop tracker services

Laptop users will no more have to bother about missing getting stole their laptops as Quick Heal; one of the prestigious anti-virus making companies has unveiled its laptop tracking service. In India the service has been launched in Hyderabad by Mr Kailash Katkar, the Chairman and MD of Quick Heal Technology.

As per report of sources, Quick heal has launched this service as part of corporate social responsibility to serve the community as the service of tracking is free of charge. The report further informed that the service could be availed free of charge even by them who were not the Quick Heal customer.

Reportedly, Quick Heal is also planning to create a database of stolen laptops for the help of users and the businessmen who deal in laptop business.

In a press conference, Kailash Katkar said that the launched technology by Quick Heal would provide a powerful tool to society at large and would also help the police force in combating against the crime associated with laptops stealing. He further added that they were very keen to get the feedback of the new service and they got pretty good responses.

Mr MJ Srikant, the VP Corp. Comm. informed that all the laptop users had to register with Quick Heal on its website www.trackmylaptop.net for the service through MAC-id (physical address) and it kept continue track of laptop where it was. He further added that if laptop was stolen quick heal laptop Tracker traces the laptops on the basis of MAC-id.
