Raavan movie Trailer Released (Preview and Review)

Long awaited Mani Rarnam’s Hindi movie Raavan teaser trailer of 40 seconds has been released. The movie is a modern day adaptation of Indian’s epic Ramayana. Story is about Rama’s wife Sita who is being kidnapped by king of Lanka, Ravana. It is said that Raavan will have a twist from the original story. But no one knows yet what the twist is actually going to be. Abhishek is playing the role of Ravana but name will be changed and it will be based on a real life character.

Other than Abhishek Bachan and Ashwaria Rai Bachan, this film also stars Vikram, Govinda, Priyamani and Ravi Kishan. A.R. Rehman is giving the music. The movie is written by Mani Ratam and Rensil D’Silva. Produced and directed by Mani Ratnam. Madras Talkies and BIG Cinemas will distribute the movie. The movie is also made in Tamil as Raavanan with slightly different cast. The movie will be dubbed into other regional languages like Telugu.

The movie will be released on 18 June 2010. Tamil and Telugu Raavanan trailer will also release soon, close to their audio releases.
