Samsung Electronics Corporation is going to make the another biggest move by launching the Galaxy series of iPhones, iPads and iPods after making a strong grip on the mobile handset market in spite throat cutting rivalry.
The latest move by electronic giant seems to be creating a horrible nightmare and a tough competition to Apple electronics as the Galaxy series is nothing but the replica of Apple’s iPhones, iPads and iPods.
Reportedly, under Galaxy series Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Player, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy smartphone. All use a variation of Google Inc.’s Android operating system and work with apps developed for it.
As per report of sources, one of the products from Galaxy series, Galaxy Player YP-GB1 can be called as the altered version of Galaxy S phone as most of the specifications matches, however, the gadgets has been fitted with 4-inch LCD display instead of newer organic LED and the operating system will be more advanced.
Samsung has been spreading the word ‘coming soon’ for months but it is supposed the products would be released by the June 2011. Samsung has not unveiled any price tags yet as the reports said that price would depend on amount of built in storage.
In a press conference Kim Jong, a vice president of the product planning, said that they would release a Galaxy Player brand for the Galaxy series world-wide. He further added that the products would be made available through wireless carriers and through retailer as well.
