Samsung releases a new handset of its wave series

Wave 578 GT-S5780, a new smartphone of the Wave series from the house of Samsung, has been recently released. The new Wave 578 is stunningly advanced smartphone and is laced with a number of alluring features. The new handset is running on ‘bada’ operating system platform and has got ‘bada v2.0’.

The dimensions sleek and gorgeous looking are 107.9 X 54.9 X 12.5 mm and the handset weighted 99.8 gram. The metallic body of the newly launched phone is really alluring as it is scratch resistant.

The new handset is fitted with 3.2 inch of QWVGA TFT LCD touchscreen and interface TouchWIz 3.0 UI over it, which provides a rich communication suit as the Social Network Service integration, connects user contacts with their social network accounts directly. So user can check the Facebook status updates and Twitter updates.

The handset is fitted with two cameras- 3.2 MP rear camera and VGA front camera. The handset is also powered with proximity and accelerator sensors. The handset has got 100 MB of inbuilt memory, which can be further increased up to 16 GB by using microSD card.

The handset provides supportability Bluetooth v3.0, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. The mobile is powered with 1200mAh battery, which promises 750 minutes talk and 700 hours standby if 2G is used and with 3G- talktime is 410 min and 500h standby.
