A session court in Ahmedabad has sentenced a man, who happen to be the security guard of the house they robbed, in connection to a robbery case. The robbery took place in the house of Pradeep Shah, the owner of Deepkala Showroom in Ahmedabad, back in 2007.
On February 11, 2007, five men broke into Pradeep’s banglow and they turned the house upside down. The five robbers also abused Mr. Shah and his son, Jainik. The robbers took away Rs. 14.45 lakh worth of jewelery and cash.
Nitin a.k.a Munno Malvi was one of the five robbers that robbed Shah’s bungalow on that day. He worked as a security guard in Pradeep Shah’s bungalow and was arrested after Shah’s wife registered a case against him. With 18 documents and 15 witnesses, Malvi was held guilty and the court imposed a fine of Rs.2000 and if he fails to pay that, he will have to go for 3 months jail term.
The other four thieves, Sandeep, Rajeev, Chiku and Bhagwandas, have been missing since then.
