Srinagar, Oct 11 (IBNS) The situation across Kashmir Valley is normal, said Jammu & Kashmir Police on Monday. “Situation at this hour continues to remain normal and under control throughout Kashmir Valley. There are no reports of any untoward incident from any where so far,” the police said.
Except Shopian town, there are no curfew restrictions in the entire Valley on Monday, according to the police.
“However, miscreants later on Monday, attempted to disrupt peace by resorting to stone pelting on security forces deployments at Murran area in district Pulwama, which was thwarted by the timely intervention of security forces and miscreants were chased away,” the police said.
The situation in the areas was brought back to normal. No one was hurt in the action.
At least 108 people were killed in anti-India protests led by the separatists in Kashmir since June 11, prompting the Centre to initiate talks with the various groups in the state, propose greater autonomy and depute an all-party delegation to the Valley.
