Slumdog Millionaire: Ok let's make some controversy!

I have watched the movie Slumdog Millionaire something like 3 times and now I am here to hit those who are making a controversy out of it. well, I heard some popular Indian actors like Amitabh Bachaan and Amir Khan are not happy with its success!!! LOL what a joke.

Ok let’s begin the discussion with what Mr.Bacchan has to say. Seems like he is not happy because the India as portrayed in the Slumdog Millionaire is not that clean and full of slums and dirt. He must have expected some high rise building and big cars and tidy people. Well, the movie is about Slum, about people in the slums and let’s agree with the fact that our India still have lots of slums. If you make a movie about sick people in hospitals, what’s the thing going to come in the movie? Obviously the sick people! Yes, the movie will be full of sick and dying people. What else it could be?

And about Amir Khan, I use to be a big fan of his before he made his comment on the movie this time. He seems to think “how come the slum children speak English” in the movie. Well, at least they are speaking only English in Slumdog millionare. Many of the Indian Movies so far made with “foreign countries” as scene locations have found every crew in the movies as Indian. One Indian Hero goes there, stays in a house of an Indian landlady, meets an Indian Heroin, they sit together in a Taxi with an Indian driver, and eat ice cream from an Indian shop, encounters an Indian Villain who eventually get caught by Police Inspector who is also an Indian. Meanwhile, the Hero-Heroin duo goes to church and prays where they meet the “father” who is (co-incidentally????) also an Indian and speaks Hindi like an English man would do!!! LOLOL!

Anyway, I just hope people will appreciate things and other people’s success more instead of trying to find problems in them. Well of course it’s good to have some people who can find problem so that we can work on fixing them. So, whatever…
