Sony Ericsson Xperia Play: Price in India Rs 30000

Xperia Play, a new gaming phone from the house of Sony Ericsson, is really going to be a gift to gamer guys as the newly launched handset is really advanced and smoothly plays the advanced games. As per report of the sources, The Xperia Play will feature up to 50 games that are available on Sony’s gaming console.

The newly launched handset is really advanced and is the first PlayStation certified smartphone. Based on android operating system the handset runs on Android V2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The beautifully designed phone is fitted with 4 inch multi-touch display and a pad; beneath the pad control buttons are provided. The display of the smartphone also supports FWVGA 480 X 854 pixels resolution.

The newly launched smartphone is powered 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with Adreno 205 GPU. Sony promises basic 3D gameplay at 60 frames per seconds. The newly launched handset is also equipped with 5.1 MP cameras with autofocus and the camera is also capable of recording high definition videos (720p HD).

The newly launched handset provides different connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G supportability, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor etc. The phone can be connected with five different Wi-Fi devices.
The new Xperia will be launched in both GSM and CDMA versions for selected markets. Expectedly, the smartphone will be available in the market by March and presumably the price of the phone in Indian markets would be around Rs 30,000.
