Swami kidnaps girl after she rejected him

In yet another Swami Scandal news, Anup Kumar Swamiji allegedly abducted (kidnapped) a 25-year old girl from the Raj Nagar area of Ghaziabad after she snubbed his marriage proposal, the police reported.

After her father expired in 2004, Priyanka suffered from depression. So, her mother took her to Anup, the Swamiji who claimed he could heal depression through spiritual remedies. But he started eyeing Priyanka malevolently.

Anup Kumar Sahai, also known as Swamiji is 40 and Priyanka Srivastava, who has been kidnapped is 25, an MBA graduate currently pursuing a PhD. Anup, the Swami wanted to marry he despite the fact that he has a wife and a seven-year-old daughter. When both Priyanka and her family rejected his marriage proposal and his offer of Rs.1 crore, he threatened to kidnap her. On February 15 at around 5:30pm in the evening, Priyanka went missing.

Later, Priyanka’s mother started receiving calls and texts from the Anup, in which he admitted to have abducted Priyanka. Anup and his brother Ashutosh (who is being accused of shielding his brother) have been booked under IPC Sections 363, 366 and 506.
