Tata Docomo network coverage quality and GSM service features in Bangalore

Seems like “Do the New” is the moto of the year. I see the sign everywhere in the street now. First I use to wonder what actually does “do the new” stand for. But now, looks like everyone knew about it!

Well “do the new” is the new Tata Docomo’s tag line and it tells you to try the new concept of their latest GSM service. The Tata Docomo plan to complete the network roll-out the end of this year. Since the network is pretty fresh, it looks like many customer still have coverage problem.

I have talked to one of my friend who just got a new Tata Docomo connection and she told me that the network coverage quality is not that good in many places of Bangalore. But what makes the new Tata Docomo scoring is their billing plan – “1p/sec”. That means you got to pay the bill exactly as per your “second” usage. You pay 60 paise if you talk for 1 minute or you pay Re.1 if you talk for 100 seconds.

So to me, it sounds like a good GSM plan. It’s time we “do the new”!

  exactly..time has come for us to do the new!!…i know there has been problems with the network..however i researchd on the matter and it seems that its only happening becuz tata docomo did not expect such a positve overwhelmiong response at such an early stage…however this will no doubt be rectified in due tie…and in the long run its the tat docomo customers who stand to benefit!!…also on a lighter note..check out thir webiste and watch some videos and listen to their awesome ringtone!!…http://tatadocomo.com/default.aspx…cheers

  The plans seems great but the 1paise / sec is available for first 27,000 seconds (ie 450 min) every months. after the first 27,000 seconds the charge is 2 paise/ sec with is expensive then the current 1 Rs / min plan that all GSM offer.

  Amazing network quality.Customer service beyond my imagination, the way they addressed
  my complaints after two days of connection
  beats Airtel hollow in all respects .Airtel plan not transparent like Tata or BSNL every thing is hidden and Airtel and reliance issue sims without much address scrutiny a bad spot on Indian security.Where as Bsnl tops list in best address scrutiny and next is Tata’s
  Already every one is busy buying docomo sims and discarding Airtel,and reliance.Tata remains high in firsts be it a best indian Car Indica, or be it cheap and safe car Nano

  now the telecom leader airtel is going to suck bcz of diss tata docomo new roaming rates
  i hope they will think now of starting some 1paise/min types of plan for dat there charges will be 100 rupees per month hahaha airtel peoples u again sucks bcz all ur customers will move to docomo.At Present we see Tata Docomo is d best and will b always d best i hope.

  Worst network comparing 2 others. If we call customer care to give complaint about network means. Sir pls just they say sorry 4 tat problem sir, Soon d problem will be resolved. But 4m last 4 months they r saying d same dialogue.Still nothing happened. 1st people use 2 buy dis 50rs sim in block by paying up to 500rs. Bt nw dey r not ready to take it for free also.

  One word for all u docomo freaks. Nobody and that means nobody beats Airtel..the leader. We Airtel people doesnt look some 1.2 paisa to other. These things r rubbish. Airtel will always be leader.

  THIS IND 34(TATAGSM, KARNATAKA) AND IND 45(AIRTEL, KARNATAKA) ARE 3RD CLASS COMPANIES AND THEY ARE MAKING FOOL OF CUSTOMERS.

  In the beginning in our place there had signal problem especially in indoor but after complaining to the Nodal officer, they installed a new tower in our area and now have no problem. Main intersting thing is they responds calmly to customers. They need time to setup more towers. Tariff is also good. Best of Luck to DOCOMO. Most worst customer care is of Airtel.
